Diagnostics
The assessment begins with a clinical examination to identify anatomical factors such as narrow nasal passages, a lax soft palate, enlarged tonsils or an enlarged tongue base.
Endoscopic examination
A flexible endoscope is used to examine the airway from the inside. Where indicated, an additional examination during sleep may be performed.
Polysomnography
For the overnight measurement, you take a device home. It records parameters including snoring sounds, sleeping position, oxygen saturation, breathing movements and pulse.
